She called me
unable to disguise the disgust in her tone.
She told me that he hadn’t changed his clothes in a week
and she asked me, “Who does that?”
She called me
unable to conceal the contempt in her tone.
She told me that he hadn’t removed his face from his electronic device
and she asked me, “Who does that?”
She called me
unable to mask the malice in her tone.
She told me that he only left the place to buy -.
and asked me, “Who does that?”
Fast forward 10 years.
I want to return her call.
I want to tell her.
I do that.
There’s more to know, about who does that.
And yet, who likely won’t tell. Maybe yes, but likely no, because who does that? Thank you for reading and commenting, CM.
You’re welcome. And if more is told…I’ll read.
Sweet!
Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
I have done that from time to time … folks who are depressed do that. How to get them to do other things is the challenge.
Thanks, Elyse. I’m sure it must be a struggle for those who try to get us to do other things. I can understand the frustration, not the contempt.
I think, sadly, they often go hand in hand.
