The Dark Tower sang,
While roses enchanted me,
Of promises, lies.

This is a silly little haiku based on Stephen King’s Dark Tower series and is my response to this week’s We Drink because We’re Poets Haiku Novel challenge:
"What I would like you to do this week is present your favourite novel, book, your own personal poem, movie or similar -the entirety of it, the story of it ā with a Haiku!"
If you want to play along, make sure you link up with their post so everyone else can see your response.
Kinda cool, I may have to try to this š
Fun! I hope you do.
LOve!
Thank you. š
This is pretty darn cool…Now to choose the novel or movie, or poem…(sigh)
Hahaha, yeah, I had to stick with novel, because if I branched out from there (or even let my brain wander much on the novel subject) it would have been impossible to choose something.
Totally get it…Rose Madder caught me with The KING but I chose the first novel that comes to mind when I think of “impact”. What a rich world we live in that we have so many choices.
Completely agree. It definitely isn’t a bad problem to have. š
I like it!
Hooray! š
Brilliant, as always, dear Jester.
Thank you!
Oh my gosh!!!!
I just realized I owe you an email.
I’m so sorry. I saw it. I read it. I meant to sync up with Revis and get his take and that never happened. I’ll try to get to it today.
Don’t rush, I’m in retreat tomorrow so won’t be online. However, if I’ve not heard from you by Thursday, I’ll be forced to set our killer donkeys on you… š :p
That seems perfectly fair and reasonable. I will do my utmost to avoid the killer donkeys.
