The wedding guests are gathering as I sit in the nearby snow on a beautiful Sierra spring day.  It won’t be long before I’ll get to see her walk down the aisle again.

Word Count: 33

It’s Friday.  It’s 33 words.  It must be the new Trifextra challenge:

This weekend, we want you to give us a 33-word time travel story.  We don’t usually tell you what to title your piece, but we’d love it if you could title it with the year/date that you choose.

Watching the queen walk towards me, towards our married life together, was one of the happiest moments I’ve ever had.  I could watch that scene over and over.  And I would never tire of it.  Her radiance.  The day’s perfection.  The meaning, passion, devotion.  Her smile.  Everyone there that day could see that smile, but it was all for me, for us.  I had to choke back tears of joy and I barely succeeded.

    happy weekend. 🙂

  2. Awww. Love your 33 words and the additional details about your special day. Your love for your wife is so evident. Makes me smile. Beautiful piece!

By the way, my anniversary is the day before yours. 🙂

Glad you liked my little post. Thanks for commenting!

  3. This was very sweet. Oddly enough, and even tho they’re very different places, I think we were getting at very similar ideas. Memory wanting to take us back a big emotion we can’t replicate.
