I am at a loss for words.
I started this blog in August 2012 without a clear idea of what I was doing, or why I was doing it. I knew I liked writing. The idea of a creative outlet was appealing. But, I had no thoughts about how much fun this would become, how many of you I would interact with on a regular basis, and how much positive feedback and encouragement you would send my way regarding my writing.
I am flabbergasted.
(Yes, I just like using that word.)
So… without knowing how to say it more elegantly:
THANK YOU!
I keep coming back because you are here. I keep writing more and trying different styles and challenges because you encourage me to. I keep testing the limits of my abilities because I know you will catch me if I fall. You, my faithful readers, my wonderful kingdomites, my amazing followers have helped turn this kingdom into something special for me, and there is no way I can thank you properly for that.
But, I will try.
Do you have a request for me? Something you want me to write about? A new series you want me to start? A guest post you want me to write for you?
You have done so much for me, what can I do for you?
Ask of me what you will and I will do my best to make it happen.

Well, that could get kind of pricey.
But, seeing as I do enjoy a margarita myself, how about this… you make it to my neck of the, er, um, kingdom, and I’ll provide the margaritas.
You do realize I do love to travel and do it often…..so get the margaritas ready for when I show up to your um kingdom. Do I get to drive around in a horse drawn carriage at least?
No horse drawn carriages… but I will give you a ride in the truck (which I’ve blogged about several times so it is fitting as representative transportation in the kingdom), or in the prince-mobile… which I haven’t really talked about much, but it is the method of transportation preferred by the prince
😥 no horse drawn carriage?!?! Ughhhh fine then I want the prince-mobile. These better be the best margaritas ever.

Ok glad we have that settled. By the way I’m a light weight so is margarita will be plenty!!!! Then I will want to drive the truck around….yes?

Now I have to search for clues. Oh my. I’m a new follower so do I get any help? If I have to do a scavenger hunt then travel I want food as well.
Can’t have margarita’s with out chips and salsa (home made, by the way), and we can probably throw together some fajitas as well…

I have used the head smashing technique before as well. Unfortunately my eye doctor told me the next time I got an “F” stuck between my eye and my eyelid he wasn’t going to remove it. So, I’ve been forced to use my hands to type since, much to my eternal sorrow.

My drafts folder is where my good writing ideas go to die. It’s like a nursing home for thoughts, but the bad kind where no one gets fed.
Hahaha, I hit publish far too much, I only have 6 posts sitting idle in the drafts folder.
I’m too hesitant. I have 16 there withering lifeless.
Not withering… waiting. Waiting for the final bit of inspiration, that final tweak that will make them shine and beg to be published.
Thank you for being more positive than me. Some of them are past the point of relevance, others, you’re right, they are there waiting for the right tweak which will take them from mundane to marvelous.
And you are such an exceptional writer, they probably are already marvelous!
