They postured that a post that uses only 25 of the 26 letters would be rather hard, and to attempt such a feat where the unused letter was a vowel would need a large amount of bravery. Such was the challenge.
The challenge was accepted.
Have you found the letter left out? Does the fact a vowel goes unused make the letter easy to see? Who has the harder task, the reader or the author?
Once there was a post,
That used not all but most,
of the letters of the alphabet,
A challenge, not a regret
Have you enjoyed the nonsense,
Or have you zoned out hence?
A pox on the whole lot,
Bravery needed was not.
Go and take that to the bank,
The challenge was a query, not a prank.
The letter that was unused was i.
Woohooo! 😀 I actually had one in there for my draft, and on my preview before posting caught it!
After all, there is no “I” in team! Nicely done.
Thank you!
That post of yours was very clever!
Thank you, thank you… I do so enjoy being clever. 😉 Almost as much as I enjoy being silly.
Love it!!
😀 Hooray!
It was i, right? Damn, that is hard to do!! You kick ass Matticus!
I think it was kind of cheating. If I had been really brave I would have tried to skip the “a” or the “e.” Thanks for the praise!
I am very impressed. I think you did wonderfully, I think you can write anything. I have given this page enough I’s to make up for the lack of them in your post!
Hah! Nice. I was going to count out all of the letters included, I even had them all typed out and had begun to enter them in (there were 46 “a’s” by the way) and then decided that I wasn’t feeling quite up to that much counting today.
That counting project sounds like a good idea in the beginning, but quickly becomes work! Interesting prompt, made you think I can tell and that must be a good thing. 🙂
Yeah. It was a good way to get my brain moving this morning.

wonderful and great one!
*bow* Thank you, thank you!
A vowel! Brilliant! You’re a genius.
Hah! I’m not a genius. I just have a way with words, sometimes, occasionally, when my mind feels like cooperating.
Why the humbleness. Embrace the awesomeness. 😆
Alas, I must always be humble… it’s who I am – dang parents for raising me the way they did! *shaking fist at them* 😛

Awesome work 🙂
Thanks again!
You did not use the letter “I”. Very clever.
That Is correct. How good of you to NotIce. I’m not sure about beIng clever, but If you say so… 😉
[…] I didn’t get my first “smart” phone until summer of 2011. 8. I once wrote a post completely devoid of “I’s.” 9. I can’t believe how many awards keep […]
Very nicely done! 🙂
Thank you! 😀
Funny and no letter “i”, love it!
Glad you liked it! 😀
Definitely a brave challenge, but you shouldn’t have mentioned it was a vowel missing, it made it too easy to find the missing ‘i’. But you did a fantastic job nonetheless. 🙂
But “vowel” was good for the “v” and the “w” …. Yeah, i probably could have figured something else out. It was the easy way out.
Just pulling ya leg, you did a grand job. 😉
Hah! Sneaky, sneaky. 😛
I was gonna leave them all out except for 2 and my response to the challenge was going to simply be “no” lol. I decided against it last minute. Very good post!
Hah! You should’ve gone with your idea.
I know. I just feel like a short blog post is a waste of a post. I need to get over that.

Was actually easy to spot . . . AFTER you asked which was left out . . . when not looking, everything can disappear without even a second glance! 🙂 Good post!
😀 Thanks! I guess I should have made It more dIffIcult to spot whIch letter I was avoIdIing. 😛
I think that approach would only have upset most readers!!! 😀
Haha! Well, that may be true. Maybe we’ll have to find out next time. 😉
If ever DP would allow us a second chance!!
Hey, why not! I could just write a second post and link to it again… I think I’ve seen others do that before. Hmm…
Well, that’s not such a bad idea . . . 🙂
